Students from the University Leuven-Limburg in Flanders have taken this course to learn more about healthy eating at the Gastrolab classroom at UCAM.
The activities will continue tomorrow at the Murcia Campus with the celebration of the III University Mile and the UCAMPaella, and on Thursday in Cartagena
On 12 and 13 May a menu will be made to raise funds for the Segura Food Bank. Those who wish to do so can purchase their menu on the internet<br /> <br />
‘The Cuban Currency: Youth Training Program’ (‘La Moneda Cubana: Programa de Entrenamiento para Jóvenes’) is a project where the Catholic University of Murcia has formed more than hundred students in Gastronomy.
Fran Martínez, chef of the Maralba restaurant; Pablo González-Conejero from La Cabaña de la Finca Buenavista; Kiko Moya of L’Escaleta and the renowned best pastry chef of Spain, Juan Antonio Serrano, are some of the new members of the new Advisory Board of the Degree in Gastronomy of the Catholic University of Murcia.
The Catholic University organizes, between September and December, the “Agenda Ñ”, a series of activities for its foreign students, which include guided tours to the Salzillo Museum, the Estrella de Levante factory and the Luzón wine cellars as well as as a journey through the orchards, a photography contest and a cooking workshop
