After a meeting with María Dolores García, UCAM president, she visited the Food Processing Pilot Plant and the UCAM HiTech building
Grupo Sanitario Ribera, Fundación Diagrama and Grupo Vihotec received the awards during the closing ceremony of the Employment Forum, which was presided over by María Dolores García, UCAM President.
The event was inaugurated yesterday, and on Thursday it will host an Employment Forum for students with leading regional and national companies, as well as professional associations.
During these days, students are informed of the specialisation opportunities offered by the University and the profiles demanded by the numerous companies participating in the event
Around 40 entities, organisations and professional associations took part in the event, which proved to be a resounding success in terms of participation.
They are taught online, they are free and they are addressed to people under the age of 30, registered in the Youth Guarantee programme who are unemployed and who are not studying at the moment.
A programme to train trainers was created and, initially, centres to promote employment in Africa and India will be opened. Furthermore, education in ethical values in science and technology will be promoted.
UCAM has a wide range of bachelor’s and master’s degrees taught out with the thoroughness required by the official agencies that control quality of education in Spain. The results, that the university has had are thanks to the educational model where the groups of students are reduced, the attention is personalized to every student, and the formation received is at the absolute maximum level with the best of technology.
