Institutions from seven countries participate in ‘Paralimits’ to adapt the model that UCAM and the Spanish Olympic Committee (COE) developed for elite athletes with special needs, thus promoting their social integration and their inclusion in the labour market once they end their sports career.
The award winning researches were written by Mariana Ferrandini, teacher at UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia, and Cristina Cerezo and Judit Sánchez, graduates of the Master’s Degree in Urgency, Emergency and Special Care Nursing.<br />

The Vice-chancellor, Estrella Núñez, and the professor of Developmental Biology of UCAM Universidad Católica de Murcia, Juan Carlos Izpisua, lead the project that is carried out in the laboratories of the Los Jerónimos Campus and of the Salk Institute of La Jolla, California, and is funded by Fundación Séneca
The doctoral students, from Spanish and foreign universities, defended their studies in the fields of Health Sciences, Computer Technologies and Environmental Engineering, Social Sciences and Sports Sciences.
This annual meeting, which will take place on 26 June, serves as a means for PhD students to evaluate the progress of their doctoral theses and to acquire skills to complete and defend their research

There will be tests covering eight areas of knowledge for higher secondary-education and professional training students of basic skills and competences related to the areas of Nutrition, Architecture and Construction Engineering, Sports, Nursing, Gastronomy, Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Telecommunication Engineering will be assessed by means of virtual tests.<br />
