The race walker from Granada and student of the Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education had the honour of carrying the Spanish’s flag together with Jordan Díaz in the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games.
The boat of Saúl Craviotto, Marcus Cooper, Rodrigo Germade and Carlos Arévalo, UCAM canoeists, finished with a well-deserved third place. With this podium, Craviotto becomes the Spanish athlete with most Olympic medals (6).
María Pérez, student of the Degree in Early Childhood Education, wins the silver medal in women's 20km race walk, which can be added to Álvaro Martín’s bronze medal, pupil of the UCAM coach José Antonio Carrillo.
