The NGO Worldproject has organised another expedition to the African country made up of eight members, three of whom are professors at the Universidad Católica de Murcia. This team is going to offer free health care to patients in the area, as well as train professionals
Already 180 students from UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia have decided to combine their online classes and exams with these tasks, which has allowed them to provide all the city councils in the region with a remote support service for the elderly, joining other initiatives such as educational support for minors without resources or collaborating in the distribution of food for needy people that take place in some municipalities.<br /> <br />
Students from different countries and regions call for “more help because there is still much to be done and all hands are few to remove mud from houses and streets, as they will not be able to recover either furniture, household appliances or many necessary things”. The action has been carried out today and the volunteers plan to repeat similar actions in the coming days.<br /> <br />
