What is Studentcare?
The Studentcare office provides support to students during their time in our university. We want to make sure that you have a pleasant and unforgettable experience at UCAM while you are here.
We understand that starting a new life in a different country can be overwhelming and that there can be moments where you feel lost or alone and need someone to talk to. Remember, we are here to provide you with support and guidance.
The Studentcare staff is willing to listen and assist you to find a solution to any concern you might face in your journey completing your program. All in all, our job can be described in just three words – help, guide, and assist.
What does Studentcare do?
We are here to give every student personalized attention by listening, helping and assisting them individually. Some of our activities are:
- Support you with your personal issues: We understand that moving to another country and adapting to a new environment and culture can be very challenging and stressful, but we are here for you.
- Include international students in the university community: We want to create a united community at our university where our international students feel included. We organize activities and programs that promote socialization, so that you can get to know other students from different parts of the world.
- Promote wellbeing: We are actively seeking improvements in the aspects of wellbeing for our students. Our main priority is to provide our students with emotional and mental support.
- Assist with administrative processes: We are here to assist you with communication-related issues in managing your administrative tasks. If you are lost in translation or having difficulties dealing with administrative processes, we will try to help you the best way we can.
- Coordinate your academic problems with the Faculty: We are here to assist you and coordinate your issues with the faculty when it comes to academic problems.
- Guide you to find a place to stay: We are connected to the Housing department, which can help you find an accommodation during your stay.
