Demise of the Certificate Holder

In the event of the demise of the Certificate holder prior to the  withdrawal of the certificate, the next of kin who wants to withdraw the certificate stored at the UCAM Certificate Department shall proceed as follows:

Before withdrawing, they should send an email to, requesting a withdrawal authorisation from the university rector, as well as the declaration of death on the issued certificate. A copy of the death certificate should be attached.

Once the legal formalities for the inclusion of the abovementioned death certificate have been completed, we will inform you so that you can withdraw the certificate at the UCAM Certificate Department.

Under no circumstances may an application be made for the certificate of a deceased person (certificate receipt).
