UCAM renews its agreement with the Fundación Registral (Registry Foundation) to promote training in Real Estate and Commercial Law
The agreement includes a specific pathway to prepare students for the land registry exams
UCAM and the Registry Foundation of the Professional Association of Land Registrars have renewed their collaboration agreement, consolidating their commitment to the training of future lawyers in the field of registry law. María Dolores García, UCAM president, and José Ramón Sánchez Galindo, regional dean of the Professional Association of Land Registrars, have signed the agreement that strengthens their relationship that will continue to promote teaching and research in Real Estate and Commercial Law.
Among the most outstanding new features of this agreement is the creation of a specific itinerary for UCAM Law students who wish to prepare for the competitive examinations to become a land registrar. Manuel Ruiz, Vice-Rector of Quality and Academic Planning, underlined the importance of this initiative, which ‘will allow students to access specialised and pioneering training in the registry field at regional and national level’.
The agreement also envisages the organisation of seminars, congresses and academic activities that will facilitate the knowledge exchange between the two institutions, bringing students closer to the professional reality of registry law. José Ramón Sánchez Galindo, territorial dean of the Professional Association of Land Registrars, has encouraged future lawyers to explore this ‘very promising option which, although demanding, offers great rewards at a professional level’.
This agreement reinforces UCAM's commitment to offering its students comprehensive training aimed at the needs of the labour market, in collaboration with key players in the legal field.
