Designed to train CEOs and managers of science and technology-based startups, UCAM HiTech and Santander Universidades present the second edition of the 'HiTech CEO's Academy' programme. This training will take place from 4 October to 16 November and is especially aimed at researchers and entrepreneurs seeking to transform their projects into high-impact companies.

The 'HiTech CEO's Academy' has proven to be a benchmark in the innovation ecosystem, providing participants with practical tools and in-depth knowledge in several key areas: investment, finance, leadership and teamwork, technology and product development, communication and legal skills.

The main objective of this second edition is to provide future CEOs with the necessary skills to lead technology companies from start-up to market entry.

Last year there were around 50 participants from different startups and renowned mentors such as Manu Nieto, co-founder and partner at First Drop; Javier González, open innovation manager at Acciona; Carlos Ruisánchez, head of scouting & dealflow at Wayra, and Nacho Alonso, CEO and co-founder of Pinama Inversiones.

The free, six-week programme will include two intensive face-to-face blocks, one at the beginning and another at the end, complemented by online work sessions between said blocks. The online sessions will feature master classes with startup investment experts and interactive Q&A sessions, where participants will obtain first-hand guidance on specific business challenges.

the HiTech CEO's Academy, which will award a €6,000 cash prize to the best startup, also fosters the creation of a strong community of leaders and entrepreneurs in the country, thus promoting innovation and business growth.
