The International Tourism Fair (FITUR) started on wednesday in the fair complex in Madrid. Within the event, the Vice-Dean of Tourism at UCAM, Ginesa Martínez Del Vas, will be having a reunion with the ministry of Tourism of Paraguay, Sofía Montiel de Afara, as well as attend other work-related encounters with the World Tourism Organisation, UNWTO, and other outstanding individuals, just like the before-mentioned ministry of Paraguay.

Together with the Vice-Dean, a total of 60 tourism students from the bachelor’s as well as master’s degrees will be travelling to Madrid from UCAM. Ginesa Martínez Del Vas affirms that the students will visit every hall available, starting from “the fair stand of Murcia”. At the fair stand of the region, the Tourism Counselor will explain to the students the actions that the region performs at FITUR. Martínez Del Vas says that “the participation of the students makes them to see the dimensionality of the tourism sector in one of the most important fairs in the world.”
