Hundreds of families enjoy the UCAM Olympic Zone
For three days, the Plaza Circular of Murcia has become a space dedicated to Olympism with numerous activities focused on sport
Archery, table tennis, football and basketball were some of the sports featured in the UCAM Olympic Zone, organised by UCAM, the Murcia City Council and the Spanish Olympic Committee. For three days, the Plaza Circular, in the heart of the capital, has become the meeting point for many families, who have enjoyed the activities, exhibitions, craft workshops and numerous other events focused on children enjoying sport and learning the Olympic values.
There were also play areas for the little ones, where they practised archery, football and basketball with giant balls and baskets. In the e-sports area, which was one of the most visited ones, visitors played table tennis in virtual reality or challenged each other in FIFA games.
Handicrafts and workshops, a gastronomy area and a stand to make a 360º video completed the recreational offer of the UCAM Olympic Zone; a UCAM event for the city of Murcia which, together with the exhibition still on display in the Paseo Alfonso X El Sabio, marks the kick-off to the Olympic Games Paris 2024.
