Representatives of the Beijing Sport University (BSU), considered as the sport university of the Chinese capital, and which has trained a large number of athletes, coaches and academics of great international reputation, visited the installations of the Catholic University de Murcia in order to strengthen and extend the collaboration agreement signed last academic year. The two institutions share initiatives such as the support to elite athletes in their studies or the development of international collaborations.
The Director of Foreign Affairs Office, Hua Yongmin, and the Director of the Planning and Finance Division, Lu Mingyang, showed a particular interest in the MBA in Sport Management, as well as the links between the Murcian institution and the professional sport world, such as the collaboration with the LFP in the field of education or the professional sport teams belonging to the University itself: the UCAM Murcia CB (Liga Endesa) and the UCAM Murcia CF (Segunda B). Moreover, they also demonstrated interest in UCAM’s Dance School, especially in the discipline of flamenco. It is worth highlighting that the Beijing Sport University also counts with a dance school that has already toured in countries such as Norway or Russia.
