On the 29th of May, the Asociación para el Tratamiento de la Parálisis Cerebral y Patologías Afines (Astrapace, Association for the Treatment of Cerebral Palsy and Related Disorders) presented an emotional award to José Luis Mendoza, founder of UCAM, recognising his close ties and intense collaboration with the organisation.

His wife, María Dolores García, President of the Universidad Católica de Murcia, collected the award from Rosa García, President of Astrapace, and Fernando López Miras, President of the CARM, during the Gala for the 45th anniversary of this association, held at the Teatro Romea in Murcia.

María Dolores García emphasised that ‘José Luis had a very close relationship with Astrapace, especially during the pandemic, when every association suffered greatly and he gave everything he could; I am truly grateful for this recognition of José Luis’.
