UCAM receives the ARTV's Silver Microphone for its 25th Anniversary

The Radio and Television Association of the Region of Murcia ("Asociación de la Radio y Televisión de la Región de Murcia") held its annual gala at the Romea Theatre.

Isabel Mendoza, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Fundacion Universitaria San Antonio, was given the award by Javier Martínez Gilabert, General Director of Informatics and Digital Transformation of the Region of Murcia.

A quarter of a century training professionals, along with an outstanding track record in research and constant support for the Region's audio-visual sector were ample merit for the Radio and Television Association of the Region of Murcia to award UCAM with its Silver Microphone. The Romea Theatre hosted the event at which radio and television companies and professionals were recognised. The event highlighted the key role of the Universidad Católica in supporting sports, numerous social causes and its contribution to the generation of wealth for the whole Region of Murcia.

 

Isabel Mendoza, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Fundacion Universitaria San Antonio, was given the award by Javier Martínez Gilabert, General Director of Informatics and Digital Transformation of the Region of Murcia. In her speech, Isabel Mendoza thanked " all the employees of UCAM, its students and their families, because without them, these 25 years of the Universidad Católica's existence would not have been possible". Consequently, she praised the work of the institution's president, José Luis Mendoza: "With his leadership, UCAM has earned prestige within the Spanish university system through quality teaching and excellence in research".
