UCAM brings together its international delegates in Spain
Delegates from 17 countries are visiting the Madrid, Murcia and Cartagena campuses this week, where they are participating in sessions to promote awareness of the institution's global identity
UCAM continues its international expansion, which is reflected in the nearly 6,000 students from 135 countries who are studying at its campuses this academic year. With the aim of promoting and strengthening the institution's global identity, this week UCAM is holding a meeting in Spain with its international delegates from China, Colombia, Ecuador, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, the Philippines, France, India, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Kenya, Mexico, Nigeria, Peru, Turkey and Venezuela.
This meeting is a strategic opportunity to create a valuable connection between the different campuses and the university's international network, promoting a deeper understanding of both UCAM and the region that hosts it. The initiative also seeks to strengthen coordination and joint work in an international context that is increasingly relevant to the institution.
Marco Bruno, Director of International Development at UCAM, emphasised that ‘these meetings enable delegates from different parts of the world to exchange experiences about their work at the University and learn more about its latest developments, so that they can pass this on to students, their families and colleagues in the countries where they work’.
The programme of activities includes visits to the campuses in Madrid, Cartagena and Murcia, as well as to various places in these cities. Institutional meetings are also planned, such as the presentation of the institution's global strategy and the services dedicated to international students and faculties, as well as the celebration of the Eucharist.
