THE ranks UCAM as the third best private university in Spain in Life Sciences
In its World University Rankings by Subject, one of the most prestigious international rankings, it stands out in the fields of sports, nutrition and biotechnology
The training and research carried out by UCAM has obtained new international recognition with the excellent results obtained in the latest edition of the Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject. This prestigious global ranking evaluates universities on the basis of 13 performance indicators grouped into five broad areas: teaching, research (volume, income and reputation), citations (research influence), knowledge transfer and international outlook.
In this edition, UCAM maintains its presence in four strategic academic areas, reflecting the solidity and stability of its university model. It stands out especially in the area of Life Sciences (sports, nutrition and biotechnology, among others) in which the institution is ranked as the third best private university in Spain, consolidating its position in the 601-800 range worldwide.
Likewise, the University maintains its good results in Health Sciences and Medicine, remaining in the 801-1000 band, as a result of its teaching and research work in this area, while also maintaining its position in the Education area in the 601-800 group.
In Social Sciences, the institution maintains the same position (801-1,000) achieved in the previous edition, reaffirming the stability of its training programmes and its contribution to knowledge in this field.
