‘¿Política confinada? Nuevas tecnologías y toma de decisiones en un contexto de pandemia’ [Confined Politics? New technologies and decision making], this is the title of the book presented at the Senate with the presence of its president, Pilar Llop. The book is edited by Aranzadi, published by the Chair of Social Responsibility of UCAM and it is framed within the Research Plan for twenty-four projects related to COVID launched by UCAM Universidad Católica de Murcia.

The texts, coordinated by Víctor Meseguer, director of the Chair of Social Responsibility of UCAM, and Josep M. Reniu, teacher of the University of Barcelona, are the result of the contributions of twenty-five experts who analysed the role of new technologies within the current context of pandemic.

After the event, Víctor Meseguer highlighted that “this is the first book that analyses, from an inter-disciplinary perspective, the adaptation of the institutions to the context of the pandemic and that will end up affecting legal reforms aimed at updating our current political model”. For her part, the president of the Senate thanked UCAM for investing in research.
