Mario Mola, world runner-up in Triathlon
Fernando Alarza ended fifth in the general classification
Great success for UCAM's triathletes in the World Triathlon Championships: Mario Mola won the last race in Chicago, ending up runner-up right behind another Spanish athlete, Javier Gomez Noya. Fernando Alarza, also triathlete of the Catholic University of Murcia, ranked fifth in the general classification after finishing sixth in the final event. It seems that both Mario Mola and Fernando Alarza will join Javier Gomez Moya at the Rio 2016 Olympics to represent Spain; it would be two places more for UCAM's athletes at the Olympics.
