La UCAM, sixth most transparent private university of Spain
The Catholic University of Murcia is the sixth most transparent private University in the country, according to the “Voluntary online transparency report if Spanish Universities 2014”, published by the Commitment and Transparency Foundation.
The study takes into account the information published by a total of 26 private universities that have voluntarily submitted themselves to a study of their online content, in order to assess the degree of visibility, accessibility, content updating and comprehensiveness.
The report makes two classifications: one for public universities and one for private institutions, although there are no substantial differences in accountability between each other.
The said-Foundation, that carried out this report, explains what “voluntary online transparency” means: “the effort to disseminate and publish the relevant information of the organization, making it visible and accessible to all stakeholders in a fully and updated way”.
