Members of the New Technologies in Health Research Group made the recordings in Andorra with the collaboration of staff from the Nostra Senyora de Meritxell hospital
The free programme ‘Aprendiendo juntos a salvar vidas’, in which the Spanish Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Council also collaborates, has been implemented at the University, its schools and sports clubs.
Coaches and instructors learn first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation with an innovative method that uses virtual reality. This initiative is led by Manuel Pardo, head researcher of the New Technologies for Health Group ("Grupo de Nuevas Tecnologías para la Salud") at the Universidad Católica.
It will offer cardiopulmonary resuscitation online modules or workshops to all the students and workers of the University, its sports clubs and the schools of its Alma Mater Foundation. Furthermore, a video for kids in which Rody Aragón has collaborated will be made available to educational and health authorities who so wish.
