Our teaching faculty is uniquely comprised of professors from UCAM and other prestigious universities from Spain and Europe. These professors are professional experts in their respective fields and have published their scientific articles in top research related journals.
Director of the Master's Degree. Holds a European Doctorate in Communication Sciences. He currently serves as UCAM´s Deputy Principal of International Relations and Dean of the Faculties of Social Sciences and Communications.
Professor of Law at the UCAM. She gained a Fulbright Post-doctorate at Harvard University and was awarded Dr. Honoris Causa by the University of Toledo (Brazil).
A lawyer and a professor, with more than 15 years of significant experience. PhD in Law and International Relations from Murcia University, selected in the 2010 National Competitive Recruitment in the occupational group of Legal Affairs for nationals of Spain (United Nations) and in the 2012 Young Professionals Programme in the job family of Political Affairs (United Nations). He has visited a lot of universities internationally, such as in Estonia, Norway, Greece, Latvia, Indonesia, Germany, China and Azerbaijan.

Coordinator of projects related to European/’Eurovertice’ initiatives. She formerly worked at the Office of the Region of Murcia in Brussels and has over 13 years’ experience in management of European projects and European financing. She has a wealth of experience in programs of territorial cooperation, ‘Programa Marco I+D+i’ and the EU´s Intelligent Energy Program.
A Bachelor’s in Sociology from ISCTE-IUL in Lisbon. PhD in Economic Geography and Master’s in Regional Development at Newcastle University. A researcher at INGENIO, Valencia, a research centre specialised in innovation and knowledge management. In 2018 awarded the prestigious Ramon y Cajal fellowship, which will start in early 2019. In the past worked as a researcher and taught at both undergraduate and graduate levels at Newcastle University, Kiel University and Cardiff University. Published over 10 peer-reviewed articles in high impact journals and book chapters on the topics of regional policy in the European Union, innovation, institutions and social innovation.
Bachelor’s in English Studies, a University expert diploma in relations with the EU by the University of Murcia (Spain). Teaching certificate by the University of Granada. Associate and Senior Consultant at EuroVértice Consultores S.L. since 2006, she has been the co-founder of the company, with expert knowledge in project design, management and partnership creation. Previously, she worked as a Consultant in European Projects for the Region of Murcia Directorate General of Relations with the European Union, in the implementation of the Interact project INTERMED. She has provided many lectures, presentations and participates to events regarding EU programmes, projects and strategies.

A lawyer and a professor. Master’s in Advanced Legal Research (Universidad de Murcia) and Master’s in Social Corporate Responsibility. He completed his PhD in Environmental Law at Catholic University of San Antonio(Murcia). He works as Chief Sustainability Officer in Orthem, SA. He has worked in several Environmental European Projects. He has taught Administrative Law at the Murcia University. Also has been a guest speaker at a number of seminars.
Project coordinator for Erasmus Sport Deca by UCAM (ES). He began working in the region of Murcia for NGOs on youth issues between 1989 and 2007. Has worked for the Government of the Region of Murcia as Technical Assistance for the European Social Fund, Axis Women's Employment, collaborated with Intercultural Association La Galeria as Head of European Programmes. Since 2016, International Project Manager in the International Projects Office (OPRI) at UCAM. Since 2004, he has been external expert to several EU Programmes National Agencies (ES, FR, MK) and by European Commission for European co-funded programs in the field of citizenship, adult education, VET school education and youth.
He graduated from the Spanish Air Force Academy in 1980 as a first lieutenant and pilot. He also received training as a navigator with the United States Air Force. Along his military career he has been in several other assignments, such as Chief of the Strategy Section at the Joint Staff of the Spanish Armed Forces, Deputy Director at the Spanish Non Commissioned Officers Academy, among other assignments. Since 2013, a teacher at the UCAM in Master’s in Criminology and Security and in International Relations. He has attended several courses on professional subjects. At the present moment he is working on his doctoral thesis on the Sahel.
Ambassador of Spain. General Consul of Spain in Los Angeles (USA). Honorary Professor of Foreign Policy and Diplomacy at the Catholic University of Murcia.
Professor Emeritus at the Catholic University of Leuven, and founder of the Centre of Studies and Investigations on Contemporanean Arab World at the same university. Has been member of the High Expert Group on Foreign Policy and Common Security of the European Commission, and member of Panel of the Wise for the Cultural Dialogue in the Presidency of Europe in the Mediterranean. Has published somewhat thirty works on arabic world and on the euro mediterranean relations.
Joined the European Association of Development Agencies (EURADA) in 2015 as director. Member of advisory boards of several EU funded projects and organisations like the IMP3rove Academy. He participates in regularly in several committees established by the European Commission. Esteban is graduated as agriculture engineer (1986-1995), holds a postgraduate degree in innovation management by the University of Alicante (1999), the advance studies diploma on agrifood by the University Miguel Hernandez (2004) and is a Spanish certified patent and trademark attorney (2008). He has made formal teaching in Carlos III University, in the University of Alicante, Murcia and UCAM.
She holds an Mst in International Human Rights Law from the University of Oxford and an LLB in Law and an LLB in Political Science from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a Phd at the Law Faculty of the University of Valencia. Has also had practical experience in international refugee law, human rights law and criminal law. Has assisted UNHCR Malaysia with refugee status determination and best interests of the child and engaged in a cooperation project in the Saharawi refugee camps. She has also had experience collaborating with the Spanish Embassy in The Hague. Has taught at the University of Valencia, University Pontificia de Comillas (Icade), Valencia International University and IE University.
Degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon. Doctorate in Law by the European University Institute (Florence), LLM in European Law and Economic Analysis by the College of Europe (Bruges), LLM in International, European and Comparative Law by the European University Institute He is currently a consultant to the competition policy team at the World Bank. He has also worked as a lawyer at White & Case (Brussels) and Cuatrecasas (Lisbon), researcher at the Florence School of Regulation and assistant to the Secretaries of State for Public Works and Communications and Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
Professor of European Union Law in the Master’s degree course in Political Sciences at the Department of Political and Social Sciences of the University of Calabria (Italy). In 2014 he gained a PhD in Business, Government and Foreign Markets with an International joint supervision between the University of Calabria (Italy), the Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (Spain) and Loyola University Chicago (USA). In 2011 he was a researcher in International law at the Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia. In 2009 he obtained a master’s degree in Political Science at the University of Calabria and in 2005 a bachelor degree in International Relations at the Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome.

Director of Social Economy Europe (EN), the EU-level representative organisation for the Social Economy, since October 2014. As director of Social Economy Europe, he is a member of the European Commission’s Expert Group on social economy and social enterprises and he has coordinated -since January 2015- the secretariat of the European Parliament’s Social Economy Intergroup (formed by 80 MEPs from 6 political groups).
