What do I have to do to record on polymedia?

• First you have to make an appointment through our appointment server or by phone. Don't forget to make your appointment at least 24 hours in advance.
• When your turn comes, go to the polimedia room with the material you wish to exhibit in digital format.. You can use videos, images and PowerPoint presentations.
• It is important that you prepare the material following the recommendations in the tips tab
• To make the presentation, we provide a lectern with a wireless mouse and keyboard. You can also connect your iPad to the room's Apple Tv de la sala. We also have a graphics tablet so you can draw on your presentations if you wish.
• When you've finished recording, you'll need to fill out a form with the video data. In a few days, your video will be hosted on the University´s Youtube channel (privately or publicly, depending on the teacher's choice)

How do I know that my video is on Youtube and how can I show it to my students?

• Once the video is uploaded to Youtube we will send you an email to the address you have previously indicated. The message will contain the link for you to send it to your students. Either through the Campus Virtual, email, social networks, etc.

How is a public video different from a private one?

• Depending on the teacher's choice, we will upload the video to Youtube either publicly or privately. When it is classified as public, any Youtube user looking for the name of the video will be able to watch it.. It can also appear in the right bar of Youtube as a suggestion in relation to other videos of the same category or subject.
• When we talk about private videos, we do not mean totally hidden videos. This choice guarantees that any Youtube user who looks for the name of the video will not find it, only those who have the link to the video will be able to locate it.  That is to say, this option allows the teacher to dose the information, to distribute to his students the link of the video that we facilitate to him

Do I have to use any special cover?

• To achieve an equal image of the Polimedia service, it is necessary that all Power Point files have the institutional cover of the University as the first slide. You can download it by clicking here..
