Yanfei Shen obtains gold in doubles at the European Championships
The player of UCAM Cartagena Table Tennis triumphed together with her partner, the Turkish Melek Hu
Yanfei She, UCAM Cartagena Table Tennis' player, made history by getting the first Spanish gold medal in the History of the European Championships. She obtained it together with the Turkish Melek Hu, with whom she competes in doubles.
The final happened against the pair formed by the Romanian Elizabeta Samara and the Hungarian Georgina Pota. The team’s victory was undeniable: scoring 4-1, not only did it reach the top of the podium, but it also enabled Spain to rise up to the highest female category.
