A large group of students from the UCAM Bachelor's Degree in Tourism and Tourism Business Management and related postgraduate courses, visited several stands, beginning with the stand of the Region of Murcia and continuing with several national and especially international stands, mainly from Asia and Latin America. They were accompanied by Ginesa Martínez del Vas, Vice-Dean of Tourism,

who stressed that this visit ‘is fundamental for the training of these students as future professionals in the tourism sector, as they can network for future professional opportunities, as well as learn about the dimension of this sector at a global level’.

UCAM has also been present at the presentation of the strategic plan of the Autonomous Community of Murcia on the Camino de la Cruz de Caravaca 2025-2030 (the Way of the Cross of Caravaca 2025-2030), as well as in various actions to be undertaken by the Region, whose slogan this year is La Región que brilla (The Region that Shines).

In addition, within the framework of the FITUR events, the presentation of the book Centenario del Turismo Español (Centenary of Spanish Tourism) was held with the participation of the Vice-Dean Ginesa Martínez, who is the author of the chapter Organizaciones del Sector Turístico (Tourism Sector Organisations) in this publication.
