The UCAM Summer Campus offers a wide range of proposals
Face-to-face and online, they are aimed at both the Catholic University community and the whole of society, including compulsory and higher secondary education students
UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia has included this year new summer courses in addition to the traditional ones, such as ‘La Unión: Presencia de Culturas’(online), voluntary work activities, a series of conferences on Sports Traumatology or intensive language courses, that are taught both at Los Jerónimos Campus and online or in Ireland, aimed at both adults and children.
The UCAM Summer Campus offers this year short courses in University Diploma in Sports Management and Esports, Communication and Media, Online Hotel Reputation Management, Leadership and Entrepreneurship, Contemporary Iberian Architecture: (I: town planning and housing / II: collective facilities), Bioclimatism and Conservation, and Virtual Environments, Visual Computing, Augmented and Virtual Reality. In addition to these, there are also programmes in English: Sport Management and Esports, Intelligent Management for the Tourism Industry, and Media and Communications.
Health
In the field of health, the free online seminar ‘Ars moriendi en tiempos eutanásicos’ organised by the Chair of Humanisation and Care for the Elderly, stands out, in which the contents of Law 3/2021 regulating euthanasia will be analysed.
Dance
UCAM presents as a novelty in its Summer Campus the 1st International Conference on Dance Studies and Society, which will take place on 24 and 25 June, aimed at professionals and students interested in the subject.
Entrepreneurship
The Murcia Institute of Technology (ITM) of the University offers the UCAM Deck ¡Impulsa tu proyecto! programme, aimed at those who have taken an entrepreneurship programme at the ITM or completed their studies at the Catholic University. Likewise, together with the Incyde Foundation, it offers the 3rd edition of the Entrepreneurship Programme in the Health Sector, co-financed by the European Social Fund, in virtual mode.
The Way of St. James
Students of UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia will be able to follow the Way of St. James this summer through the Chaplaincy service of the Cartagena Campus. The Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunication Technologies together with the Telefónica Chair
‘Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Digital Age’ have scheduled two workshops, online, aimed at compulsory and higher secondary education students in the Region; one of them on augmented reality and 3D design in social networks and the other on design of VR scenarios using Mozilla Hubs.
