A UCAM student, best academic record in Spain in Dentistry

The Spanish Society for Academic Excellence (Sociedad Española de Excelencia Académica or SEDEA) recognizes 19 students from the Universidad Católica de Murcia for their outstanding careers, both academic and curricular.

Adrián Hurtado Bermúdez, a graduate of the Universidad Católica de Murcia, has been ranked as the best academic record in Spain in the 2021 ranking of the Spanish Society for Academic Excellence (Sociedad Española de Excelencia Académica or SEDEA) in the Degree of Dentistry. In addition, UCAM, with a total of nineteen selected graduates, is at the top of the rankings in the degrees of Medicine, Business Administration, Telecommunications Engineering, Early Childhood Education, Computer Science and Nursing.  

 

SEDEA selected 1-2% of the university graduates from each of the degrees. After their selection, their CVs were evaluated taking into account the average mark of the degree, honours, prizes and distinctions, scholarships obtained for academic merit, courses, languages, presentations at conventions, publications, student representation, volunteering and social commitment. Adrián Hurtado, who was a student of the second graduating class of Dentistry at UCAM, is already working as a dentist in a clinic in Murcia and is continuing with his training, studying a master’s degree, and preparing his PhD.
