UCAM Strengthens Its International Profile in the US
The institution marks 10 consecutive years of participation in NAFSA, the world's largest education fair
Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia has been participating this week, marking ten consecutive years of presence, in the NAFSA 2026 ‘Global by Design’ annual conference. Held this year in Orlando, Florida, the event aims to share innovations, strategies, and best practices in higher education, while establishing and strengthening ties with other educational institutions. It is the most significant international education gathering globally, organized by the ‘Association of International Educators,’ which boasts more than 11,000 members across 170 countries.
Through its participation in this fair, UCAM, which currently hosts 3,500 international students from 135 countries, reinforces its international profile through short-term courses, dual degrees, summer programs in Spain, joint research with partner universities, and mobility and exchange programs for both students and university staff.
Examples of this include the agreements reached with Istanbul Kent University in Turkey to offer the Master’s in ‘International Relations’ as a dual degree—allowing Turkish students to complete their second year at the UCAM Campus—and with Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola (USIL) in Peru, with campuses in Lima and Miami, to promote dual degrees in the fields of Marketing and Sports Science.
