The third edition of 'UCAM Smart Campus' is beginning today ( Tuesday 26 April) in the Jeronimos Monastery, divided into two sessions with  different themes: drones (Tuesday 26) and digital entertainment (Thursday 28). Both disciplines recognized experts will address current issues in these sectors, focusing on practical applications and possibilities of the labor market in the short and medium term. This conference is organized by  UCAM Degree in Telecommunications Systems Engineering, the Technical Conference SICARM; with the cooperation of the Integra Foundation, the European Regional Development Fund and the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.

Under the theme of applications of drones in science and technology, there will be some interesting activities today. After two round tables discussing regulation of such devices and their manufacture and processing, at 12:30 pm an exhibition drone flight  will take place, while taking  pictures in the temple of the Jeronimos Monastery . It will be a historic occasion for the use of these devices within a historical monument. The morning will end with a panel discussion on actions that have been carried out with drones in the region of Murcia.
