UCAM participated in the annual NAFSA conference: Association of International Educators, the largest international higher education meeting, held in San Diego, California. With more than 100 B2B meetings scheduled, UCAM developed an intense week of work to strengthen ties with academic institutions around the world.

The UCAM institutional delegation was made up of José Luis Mendoza García, General Director of Institutional Relations; Samuel Mendoza García, General Director of Infrastructures and Digital Transformation; Pablo Blesa, Vice-Rector of International Relations and Communication; VanDyck Silveira, Director of Strategy and Global Expansion; Marco Bruno, Director of International Development; Lonneke Meijer, International Relations Technician, and José García del Real, Coordinator of the Eduprojects Unit.

The aim of their presence was to foster new international mobility agreements, promote double degree programmes, short courses, summer programmes and language training, as well as to strengthen UCAM's global presence and visibility. UCAM is seen as a particularly attractive institution by universities from all over the world thanks to its wide range of degrees taught in English, which positions it as an academic partner of great interest on the international scene.

In this sense, new collaboration agreements have been formalised with the César Vallejo University (Peru) and Karunya University (India), among other prestigious international universities.

Every year NAFSA is a strategic opportunity to connect with universities in more than 100 countries, allowing UCAM to consolidate its position as an international benchmark in the field of higher education.
