The UCAM president participates in the meeting of grandparents and grandchildren with the Pope

Under the title 'Caress and Smile', the Paul VI Hall of the Vatican hosted the meeting of 6,000 grandparents and grandchildren with Pope Francis, an event attended by María Dolores García, UCAM president, who received an affectionate greeting from the Holy Father.
This initiative, which José Luis Mendoza, UCAM founder, helped promote, was organised by the Fundación Edad Avanzada (Foundation for the Elderly), presided over by Monsignor Vincenzo Paglia, a project whose aim is to promote the care and rights of the elderly and in which UCAM actively collaborates.
Monsignor Paglia has maintained a close relationship with UCAM for many years, participating in various events held at the Los Jerónimos Campus, and setting up projects such as the International Observatory of the Family and the John Paul II Pontifical Theological Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family.
