The UCAM Polytechnic School offers the degrees in Computer Engineering, Engineering in Telecommunication Technologies, as well as ones related to the field of construction, such as Building Services Engineering, Principles of Architecture and Civil Engineering, which stand out for being highly practical, combining practical training in the modern and comprehensive facilities of the Murcia Campus with external internships, as well as an applied teaching methodology and a teaching staff closely tied to the industry, who combine teaching with their professional practice, thus transferring their experience to students. Building Services Engineering
This degree (Technical Architect) offers a wide range of employment opportunities, both as a self-employed professional and as a member of specialised work teams in companies related to the industry, it being a qualification with a high level of employability. Students have the possibility of studying a dual programme with the Degree in Civil Engineering.
Principles of Architecture
This degree has replaced the Architecture degree following the updating of its syllabus, bringing it into line with the European framework. The degree incorporates two specialisations linked to professional competences: Architectural BIM, and Architectural Heritage and Sustainability. This Degree will be followed by the Master's Degree in Architecture, which grants the powers to exercise the profession of architect.
Civil Engineering
These professionals design, develop, test and supervise the manufacture of millions of products and services used on a daily basis (in the construction of roads, bridges, ports, railways, housing developments, water supplies, wastewater treatment plants, etc.). This degree gives direct access to the UCAM Master's Degree in Civil Engineering which allows students to attain the highest competences in the field of Civil Engineering.

‘Logistics and business: opportunities for the future’ was the theme of the conference held at the Los Jerónimos Campus by the UCAM Degree in Civil Engineering, which was also attended by executives from renown companies, political leaders, academics from the University, as well as representatives from logistics companies. Talks and round tables were held to analyse the new challenges in logistics and last mile transport, how to improve logistics processes for the benefit of society, as well as good practices, environmental policies and corporate social responsibility in business logistics. Logistics is a strategic pillar of the Region's economy, generating 5.7% of employment and representing 4% of its GDP.
