UCAM PAU Challenge - how to face the University Entrance Examination

All students who wish to do so can access this tool, where they will find advice on how to take the exam in the best possible conditions.

In the Region of Murcia, over 7,500 students will sit the new Selectividad (similar to the UK's A-levels)- which has been renamed the University Entrance Examination (PAU in Spanish), from 3 to 5 June,  So, these are days of anticipation, with the added challenge this year of exams that have changed in several ways, leaving behind the ‘COVID model’.

Grammar, presentation and practical skills are now more important. All students entering from upper secondary education must be examined in four areas: Spanish Language and Literature, History of Spain or History of Philosophy (chosen by the student), Foreign Language and the subject specific to each branch of study. In addition, they will be able to raise their marks - a maximum of 4 points - by examining subjects in a voluntary phase. 

It has already been announced that the provisional grades will be available on Tuesday, 10 June, from 4 pm onwards.

Preparation is very important to get to the PAU in the best possible conditions; a test in which, in addition to assimilating all the contents, you have to know how to control aspects such as stress and plan your time, as they not only affect passing, but also achieving the desired grade.
