UCAM features once again in the QS World University Rankings
In its WUR 2027, the prestigious British consultancy firm selected 1,504 higher education institutions after evaluating a total of 8,808
Quacquarelli Symonds has published the results of its QS World University Rankings 2027, in which the Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM) features among the best universities in the world for the second consecutive year. The institution particularly stands out for its performance in key areas such as employer reputation, internationalization, and sustainability.
The ranking evaluated 8,808 universities worldwide, placing UCAM in the 1201-1400 band, which highlights its core strengths and the excellence of its educational model. The strong perception that employers have of UCAM graduates positions the university remarkably well in the ranking, even improving its global score from the previous edition by nearly 4 points. This reflects an acknowledgement of its academic excellence and its close ties with the business sector, fostering a real transfer of knowledge to the productive fabric and society.
In this regard, the CYD Foundation recently indicated in its latest report that UCAM graduates secure better jobs and show higher entrepreneurial initiative. This data is further backed by the University's Occupational Observatory, which notes that 83.6% of Catholic University graduates find employment in less than a year. Furthermore, the U-Ranking indicates that UCAM graduates are hired nearly 10% more than the national average, and their annual salaries exceed the national average by €2,000.
Internationalization
One of the highlights of the QS WUR 2027 for the Catholic University is its high ratio of international students—who make up 25% of the student body—and the global nature of its faculties. This fosters a rich diversity on campus, enhancing both the academic environment and the capacity to develop international research networks.
Its commitment to internationalization, student mobility, and attracting foreign talent is a defining feature already recognized by other rankings and now reaffirmed by the British consultancy. QS positions UCAM in the TOP 10 in Spain (out of 48 evaluated) for international students, improving by 11 points compared to last year's edition. UCAM is the leading university in the Region of Murcia and one of the pioneers in Spain in offering degrees taught entirely in English, covering both undergraduate level (Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Dentistry, Physical Activity and Sport Sciences, Psychology, International Relations, and Veterinary Medicine) and postgraduate programs. Additionally, the institution holds international branches in India, Dubai, and Egypt.
