UCAM has participated for the tenth consecutive year in the NAFSA 2026 Annual Conference & Expo, themed ‘Global by Design’ and held on this occasion in Orlando, Florida. The event aims to share innovations, strategies, and best practices in higher education, as well as to establish and strengthen ties with other educational institutions. Organized by the Association of International Educators—which boasts over 11,000 members across 170 countries—it stands as the most important international education gathering globally.

UCAM, which currently hosts 3,500 international students from 135 countries, is reinforcing its global reach through short courses, dual degrees, summer programs in Spain, joint research projects with partner universities, and mobility and exchange programs for both students and staff.

Key Alliances Among the highlights of the event were meetings held with US institutions such as St. Leo University in Florida, aimed at exploring opportunities for international dual degrees at both undergraduate and master's levels, as well as boosting collaboration in research and doctoral programs. Other notable alliances include agreements reached with Istanbul Kent University (Turkey) and Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola (USIL, Peru), which operates campuses in both Lima and Miami.
