The UCAM community, once again, committed to blood donations
Students and administrative staff at UCAM participated during the whole day in the donation of blood.
Students, professors as well as administrative and service staff at the Universidad Católica de
Murcia once again showed their solidarity by donating blood, in response to the call made by the
Centro Regional de Hemodonación ("Regional Blood Donation Centre") to ensure the supply of
blood in hospitals. Despite the current situation, and the fact that students are taking their exams,
200 people donated blood, 92 of them for the very first time, including adolescents from a number
of different countries. In a few days, all of them will receive a thank you note with the results of
their blood tests and their donor ID card.
