UCAM and Shandong Sports University join forces in international sports education
Twelve young Chinese footballers complete their training experience in Spain
The Universidad Católica de Murcia (UCAM) and UCAM Murcia CF (Football Club), together with Shandong Sports University (China), have developed a training programme in sports management specialising in football. For three months, twelve students from this Asian university have participated in an intensive course that combines theoretical and practical lessons in collaboration with the UCAM Research in High Performance Sports (CIARD).
This programme, created by Eduprojects and Spanish Sport University, stands out not only for the quality of the training, but also for the profile of the participants: young footballers who have been able to experience first-hand how a professional Spanish team competing in the Second Division is managed. In turn, they have contributed their vision, which has generated a valuable cultural and professional exchange between the two institutions.
Shandong Sports University, a partner institution of UCAM, has been a key partner in many educational and sports projects. Furthermore, this academic year marks a milestone as it is the first programme designed entirely for its students, strengthening the ties between both institutions and showing the commitment of UCAM to international training in the field of sports.
