UCAM and Istanbul Kent University Strengthen Strategic Alliance
President María Dolores García welcomed Emre Atsü, Director of International Relations at the Turkish university, who delivered guest lectures for the Master’s Degree in European Union Studies as part of an Erasmus+ teaching mobility
The study of international relations and political analysis is more essential than ever given the current geopolitical landscape. In this context, the Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) hosted an institutional visit from Emre Atsü, Director of International Relations and Professor at Istanbul Kent University. The visit aimed to consolidate the strategic alliance between both institutions and provide expert insights to UCAM students.
UCAM President María Dolores García met with Professor Atsü to further strengthen the ties between the universities. On the academic front, Professor Atsü shared his expertise in EU Studies by delivering two lectures on contemporary EU international relations for the Master’s Degree in European Union Studies and Human Rights.
Pablo Blesa, UCAM Vice-Rector for International Relations, highlighted the university's significant footprint in Turkey: "We maintain a permanent office there, and we currently have over one hundred Turkish students enrolled at our Los Jerónimos Campus." He also emphasized that Istanbul Kent University is a key strategic partner in this region.
