UCAM and AJE join forces to promote entrepreneurship among young people
The presidents of the Universidad Católica de Murcia and the Asociación de Jóvenes Empresarios de la Región de Murcia, María Dolores García and Almudena Abellán, have signed an agreement to launch initiatives to promote entrepreneurship, especially among young people.
This agreement, signed at the Los Jerónimos Campus, will enable both institutions to collaborate in the organisation of training and dissemination activities in the form of workshops, courses, seminars and conferences, and will enable students from the UCAM Faculty of Economics to do internships to increase their management knowledge.
One of the key points of this agreement is to promote synergies between businesses and the university. As Almudena Abellán, President of AJE, stated, ‘we will work together to ensure that the talent, projects and ideas of university students reach the streets and become a reality.’
On this matter, Gonzalo Wandosell, UCAM Dean of the Faculty of Economics, explained that ‘we are going to put all the knowledge and applied research produced at the University at the service of young entrepreneurs.’
