Students from more than 30 countries graduate in economics and business management at UCAM
A total of 80 students from Westford University College and UniAthena received their MBA, Executive MBA, MPhil and DBA diplomas at a ceremony held at the Los Jerónimos Campus.
India, Philippines, Nigeria, South Africa, Egypt, Canada and France, among others, are the countries of origin of the students from the Higher Education centres of Westford University College and UniAthena who have completed their studies in MBA, Executive MBA and DBA degrees, endorsed by UCAM. Students received their scholarships and diplomas on Thursday in an emotional ceremony held at the UCAM Murcia Campus, which they attended accompanied by their families, who had travelled thousands of kilometres.
Gonzalo Wandosell, Dean of the UCAM Faculty of Economics and Business; Zawahir Siddique, Dean of Westford; Sree Lakshmi, Director of Research at UniAthena; and Marco Bruno, Director of International Development at the Catholic University, presided over the graduation ceremony. Besides participating in the graduation ceremony, the students took advantage of their stay at UCAM to take part in a VR and Artificial Intelligence Bootcamp.
Universidad Católica de Murcia has been collaborating with these two institutions since 2018 with training programmes aimed mainly at executives and middle managers in the business world, both on-site and online.
