The Parish of San Francisco de Asís (Murcia) welcomed the event of ecumenical prayer celebrated in the context of the 19th International Conference on Charity and Voluntary Work of UCAM, in which various bishops and representatives of Christian denominations participated. “Various Christian denominations participated and we prayed together for unity and development of peoples. For all the things that Pope Francis is asking to us”, explained Antonio Alcaraz, vice-chancellor for University Extension.

Furthermore, in the Temple of the Monastery of Los Jerónimos, various panel discussions were held with the participation of different associations and ONGs, to discuss on exclusion, inclusion policies and social action in the Region of Murcia, as well as to expose the actions that the institutions that participate in this field are carrying out. On the other hand, tomorrow, Saturday 29, the 19th international Conference on Charity and Voluntary Work will end with the 2nd International Folklore Exhibition, that will take place in the Santa Joaquina de Vedruna school at 7:00 p.m., as well as the International Voluntary Work Exhibition, which has been taking place during the entire week at Paseo de Alfonso X.
