The best research techniques

The teaching staff of the UCAM Bachelor's Degree in Criminology is in close contact with the profession, which enhances student learning and allows the programme to adapt to the demands of the sector at any given time. In addition, the institution has comprehensive facilities with state-of-the-art technological equipment, such as the Merlin VP Compact scanning electron microscope. Students complete a high number of practical hours, both in-house and externally, in addition to other activities such as attending trials.

In terms of training, students on the UCAM Bachelor's Degree in Law complete internships at leading law firms, in addition to the practical experience they gain in the Courtroom Classroom on the Murcia Campus, maintaining contact with the different legal professions throughout their studies. The programme has also been strengthened with subjects that are essential for today's lawyers, such as public speaking, forensic writing and new technologies.

UCAM offers a Master's Degree in Access to the Professions of Lawyer and Procurador (Legal Representative), which is a requirement for practising as a lawyer or court representative. Each year, on average, 98% of students on this postgraduate course pass this official exam.

Experts in the labour sector

The contact with the business world is one of the keys to the UCAM Bachelor's Degree in Labour Relations and Human Resources, made possible thanks to agreements with more than 500 companies, allowing students to choose where to do their internships. This programme is taught online and students receive multidisciplinary training in line with the most prestigious programmes.

UCAM opens the pre-enrolment period for the 2025/26 academic year for Bachelor's and postgraduate degrees at both the Murcia and Cartagena campuses, as well as online. UCAM is known for offering excellent quality teaching, tutorial support (academic and personal), education in values in the light of Christian humanism, excellent sport research and support for athletes from the grass roots level. Specialisation seminars for students and professionals

This week, students from the Bachelor's Degree in Law attended a scientific seminar on the state of the rule of law in the EU. In addition, the Bachelor's Degree in Criminology has organised two events: a conference on criminal investigation, which will take place on Wednesday 21 May at the Cartagena Campus, and the 1st Conferences on Safety and Criminology, held in collaboration with the Abarán Local Police Headquarters on Thursday 29 and Friday 30 May, which will analyse new contemporary challenges in this field.
