Monsignor José Manuel Lorca Planes, bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena, announced the Advent and Christmas Proclamation at UCAM yesterday. Afterwards, José Luis Mendoza, president of the institution, wished the whole academic community a Merry Christmas. Thereafter, the bishop blessed the nativity scene erected in the cloister of the Monastery of Los Jerónimos, a work of Antonio Pellicer, an employee of the University. After the blessing, popular Christmas carols were sung.
