Gold Medal of the Region of Murcia awarded to José Luis Mendoza
José Luis Mendoza, UCAM founder, has posthumously been awarded the Gold Medal of the Region of Murcia
The Government of the Region of Murcia has posthumously awarded the Gold Medal of the Region to the founder of our University Mr. José Luis Mendoza Pérez.
The award ceremony (Gold Medals and Distinguished Service Awards) will take place during the celebration of the Day of the Region of Murcia, next Friday, 9 June, in San Javier.
María Dolores García, president of the UCAM, has valued this recognition highlighting that ‘José Luis Mendoza gave his life to this project – UCAM. It was clear to him that spreading the word of Christian humanism and Catholic education to young people prove to be worthwhile’.
