Germany, Italy, Brazil and the USA are among the favourite destinations selected by UCAM students for their mobility programmes
UCAM has held an informative meeting with the 300 students selected for the Erasmus Studies, Ibero-America or Overseas programmes for the 2023-24 academic year
The Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia has held an informative meeting at the Los Jerónimos Campus with around 300 students who have been selected to take part in an international mobility programme (Erasmus Studies, Ibero-America and Overseas) during the 2023-2024 academic year. Some of the most popular destinations among the 60 available are the United States, Italy, Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Portugal, Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, Romania and Ireland.
Pablo Blesa, Vice-Rector of International Relations, congratulated all the students and highlighted their work as UCAM ambassadors, emphasising that mobility programmes help students to have a 50% greater chance of finding employment. ‘UCAM offers its students not only Erasmus programmes, but also many other mobility alternatives, such as Summer Programmes, Erasmus Internships and Overseas; our students even have the SICUE programme for national mobility. According to European Commission data, companies value placements abroad highly because they equip people with valuable skills, such as problem-solving.
Lucía, a student of the UCAM Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunication Technology Engineering, has chosen the University of Gdansk, in Poland, as her destination. ‘I feel that this programme will be very beneficial for me in terms of training, getting to know another culture, other languages and different people, which will help me stay motivated in difficult times’.
