German professionals from multinational companies complete their training at UCAM
Thanks to an agreement with the German university school FOM, where they study using a dual training model, UCAM has awarded them their degrees after completing courses in marketing and business management
UCAM celebrated the graduation ceremony of a group of students from the German university school Fachhochschule für Oekonomie & Management (FOM), who have completed a three-month intensive academic programme in the areas of marketing and international business management. The students, from the 11th year of this programme, which is the result of collaboration between the two institutions, have completed five training modules taught by a mixed teaching staff made up of German professors and UCAM lecturers.
During the ceremony, Pablo Blesa, UCAM vice-rector of International Relations and Communication, highlighted that ‘these students have temporarily left their jobs in large companies such as Siemens, Mercedes or Hermès to complete this training on our Campus, which demonstrates their commitment to academic excellence during the ceremony.’
In addition to technical training, the programme included a linguistic and cultural component, offering students the chance to improve their level of Spanish and learn first-hand about the rich culture of the Region of Murcia. Throughout their stay, they have had the opportunity to experience traditions such as Easter and the Spring Festivities and have enjoyed the Mediterranean lifestyle.
‘Murcia has provided us with incredible experiences; we have had a wonderful time, and the teachers have been exceptional,’ said Vaana Memeyagi, a student on the programme, who also highlighted ‘the quality of the teaching, the facilities and the friendly attitude of the teachers; everything has exceeded my expectations.’
