Belgian university students learn about nutrition and gastronomy at UCAM

Students from the University Leuven-Limburg in Flanders have taken this course to learn more about healthy eating at the Gastrolab classroom at UCAM.

The Los Jerónimos Campus hosted the International Project in Health, a course organised

by UCAM in collaboration with the Leuven-Limburg University of Flanders (in Belgium).

Students from the Belgian institution participated in this training in collaboration with students

from the UCAM Bachelor’s Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, with the aim of

promoting the consumption of local, organic, and sustainable food.

The students presented the most representative gastronomic features of their home country as

well as the predominant culinary preferences of their population, to conclude preparing a Belgian

recipe with a Spanish twist.
