Ayoub Ghadfa, Olympic silver
The boxer from Marbella and member of UCAM-COE alliance wins the silver medal after losing in the final against the Uzbek Bakhodir Jalolov
Even though the forecasts that placed the Uzbek Bakhodir Jalolov as the favourite were true in the end, Ayoub Ghadfa, UCAM athlete, can leave the Parisian Olympic Games very proud of his performance. He gave his best and hit great moves, making people think that the final could turn the other way at any moment. But Jalolov, Tokyo 20 and world champion, took advantage of his greater height to keep Ghadfa away and to find good moves that were decisive for the judges to give him the victory unanimously.
