Monsignor José Manuel Lorca Planes, Bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena, presided over the Eucharist celebrated in the Temple of Los Jerónimos, where 29 UCAM students received the Sacrament of Confirmation, accompanied by UCAM President María Dolores García, as well as their families and friends.

This ceremony, also celebrated by Luis Emilio Pascual, Senior Chaplain of the University, marked the culmination of a process of Christian education that the students have followed throughout the current academic year, coordinated by the UCAM Department of Human and Religious Sciences. This is a moment of special significance for the students, who have deepened their Catholic faith and their commitment as active members of the Church.

The students who received the Sacrament belong to different UCAM Bachelor’s Degrees: Early Childhood Education, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Primary Education, Nursing, Psychology, Audiovisual Communication, Criminology, Civil Engineering, Building Services Engineering and the Master's Degree in Surgery.
