Mission

The main mission of the School is to promote the study of modern languages as part of the process of internationalization of university life, in addition to representing an essential component of the learning processes of students in the teaching, research and continuous training activities of our faculty, and to serve as a means of improving human resources in society, in which UCAM transmits its model of educational excellence. The ESI offers language training in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese and sign language. All our courses have a guaranteed results method and cater to the different levels of competence of the student, giving the opportunity to those enrolled to obtain internationally recognized official degrees.

UCAM is a training and examination centre for official international organizations:

ENGLISH

  • Cambridge University (PET, FIRST, CAE): 4 calls per year in March, June, July and November/December.
  • Trinity College London (ISE I, ISE II, ISE III): 6 calls per year.

SPANISH

  • Instituto Cervantes (DELE): 3 calls per year in May, July and November.

It is also a preparation centre for official exams:

  • British Council (IELTS)

FRENCH

  • Alliance Française (DELF, DALF)

GERMAN

  • Goethe Institute

All our courses are taught by qualified teachers. Our offer is aimed at both UCAM students and all those interested in learning and improving their foreign language skills. ESI has four locations, in addition to the central location in the Los Jerónimos campus (Guadalupe): the El Palmar location, located in the San Vicente de Paúl School; the Yecla location, located in the La Inmaculada School; and the Cartagena locations, in the El Sagrado Corazón School and in its Los Dolores Campus.
