The Universidad Católica de Murcia is one of the universities in Spain with the largest number of courses offered in English and the one that offers the most degrees in this language in the Region of Murcia. As far as degrees are concerned, it will add two new ones next year, Psychology, which it will teach at its Murcia Campus, and Dentistry at its Cartagena Campus. The institution had already been offering Business Administration and Management, Physical Activity and Sport Sciences and Dentistry in Murcia in English, as well as ten postgraduate degrees.

'The Europe Teaching Rankings 2019', by the prestigious Times Higher Education, positions UCAM as the tenth university in Europe in terms of teaching quality, while the latest ranking by the Foundation for Knowledge and Development (CYD) highlights it for its educational offer of Bachelor's and Master's degrees in English, being an academic center of great interest for students from different autonomous communities and other countries.

In turn, the BBA degree has been reinforced with the ACCA finance and accounting accreditation, which is an official international recognition widely appreciated by students graduating from UCAM.

International campuses and stays

The Universidad Católica de Murcia has more than 4,600 international students, from 97 countries representing five continents. Most of the students study masters and degree programs in English or Spanish on the campuses of Murcia or Cartagena and online modality. Its presence represents an important cultural richness and exchange between the university community, also contributing to making UCAM a pole of attraction for companies, academics and agents.

All the degree courses offer the possibility of carrying out six-month or one-year exchanges in prestigious universities in Europe, Asia and America, even obtaining a double degree. They can also do internships in international companies and institutions.

Digital transformation

The process of digital transformation and the adaptation of UCAM to the situation generated by the health crisis, allows all its international students to have their training guaranteed by having all the necessary tools to do so. Among other measures for the next academic year, the University, which will give priority to attendance, has installed cameras in all classrooms so that students who cannot attend can follow the classes live by 'streaming', while at the same time they will be recorded for those who are affected by the time difference.
